We read 67 packages from 5 providers for the CFA exams, 19 from 3 for the FRM exam and 28 from 5 for the CPA Exam: their pricing pages, product pages, help pages and terms. Nothing on this site comes from a review site, a forum or another comparison site. Latest price check: 30 Oct 2026.
What counts as a source
- The provider's own pricing, product, help and terms pages, read on a stated date.
- A dated archive copy of one of those pages, when the live page cannot be read. The page shows the archive date.
What does not count
Review sites, other comparison sites, forums, a competitor's blog, and a search engine's summary of a page.
Three kinds of figure
- Stated
- The provider says it on its own page. Only a stated fact is ever called a strength or a weakness.
- Our estimate
- Worked out from the provider's own pages, with the working recorded. For example, the length of every lesson listed on a demo page, added up. An estimate is always marked as one, and never counts for or against a provider in a comparison.
- Not stated
- We looked and did not find it. The page says so rather than guessing.
Two rules on gaps
A page says a provider offers "none" of something only when every package it sells at that level says so. Where we could not confirm a fact, the page says that we could not confirm it. A gap in our research is never turned into a claim about a provider.
Prices
We record the price shown on the page on the day, and the date. Where a page shows a sale price, we record the price you would have paid that day and the struck-through list price beside it, and the price pages show both with the saving. Prices and promotions move, so look at the provider's page before you buy.
When we check a price again, the earlier reading is kept with its date, so a package's price history builds up from real readings. We show no history until there are at least two, and we never call a price the lowest ever without the readings to show it.
Pass rates
We quote none. CFA Institute and GARP publish their own pass rates for each exam. We do not record any pass rate a provider claims for its own course.
Who pays us
Some providers pay us a commission when you buy. Those links are marked. A link that pays us is marked. Paying plays no part in any figure, any order or any match. Lists run A to Z.
Found an error?
Write to contact@prepproviders.com, and we will check the figure against the provider's page, correct it and show the date of the correction.
