Not sure which suits you? Take the quiz and we will match you.
Down to two? See them head to head.
Want every package, not one per provider? Compare prices by level, filtered by what you need.
Each mix bar is worked out from a package's hours of video, pages of notes, questions and mocks. Where a provider does not publish a figure, such as the length of its notes, we estimate it from the provider's own pages and mark the mix as estimated. So treat the bars as a guide to what a package is made of, not as exact measures.
From CFA Institute, for every candidate:
56%
of candidates used a prep provider. Their main reasons were more concise materials, the format, and a recommendation.

We read each provider's pricing pages, package lists and small print. The quiz sets that research beside your study time, how you like to learn and your budget.

Your study time, how you like to learn, your budget, your level and your exam date. Eight quick taps, no typing.
Every package has a mix of lessons, notes, questions and mocks. We set each one beside yours and show the closest.
With the date we checked it. Where a provider gives our readers a discount, you get it.
So far that is 51 packages from 5 providers, across all three levels. Every Level I price was checked on or after 30 Oct 2026. More are added as we check them.
One of us passed Level I of the CFA Program and is a Level II candidate, so we know what this choice feels like at eleven at night with an exam date getting closer.
What we have not done. We have not sat every course. We say what each comparison is built from, and we do not repeat a provider's own pass rate, because nobody outside can check it. More about us.

Not everyone does. CFA Institute gives every registered candidate its curriculum, practice questions and mock exams. In its May 2024 candidate survey, 56% of candidates said they also used a prep provider, most often for more concise materials. We show what each course adds to what you already have.
Some providers pay us a commission when you buy. Those links are marked. A link that pays us is marked "Paid link". Providers that pay us nothing are compared in exactly the same way.
No, and it can cost you less. Some providers give our readers a discount. Where there is one, it is shown beside the package, with the price you would pay.
Every price shows the date we last checked it against the provider's own page. Prices and promotions move, so look at the provider's page before you buy.
Lists run from A to Z. We do not rank providers by who pays us, and we do not sell placements.
Eight quick questions: the level you are sitting, your exam date, how many hours a week you have, how you like to study, how much support and structure you want, your budget, and whether it is your first attempt. There is no typing, and we do not ask for your email address.
Every package has a study mix: how much of it is lessons, notes, questions and mocks. Your answers build your own mix. We show the packages closest to it that also fit your level, your time and your budget, with the reasons.
A small team that spends its time reading prep providers' syllabuses, pricing pages and terms, so you do not have to. One of us passed Level I of the CFA Program and is a Level II candidate. We have not sat every course, and we say what each comparison is built from.
Take the quiz for a shortlist matched to your study time, how you learn and your budget. Or compare every course yourself, with every price dated.
The quiz takes about a minute. No email address. No cost to you.
