Who it suits
By the quiz's rules, Mark Meldrum comes first almost only for candidates who put lessons first, and that is as it should be for a video-led course. Within that group it does well for first attempts at Levels I and II with a budget under $600 and months to spare, because the Self-Study course includes an instructor to ask and a planner at the entry price.
Where it is thin
- Every count is our estimate. His current pages state no video, note, question or mock totals.
- The notes are captures of the lecture screen, by his own description, rather than a written text.
- Three mocks, assumed from his standalone mock pack, is at the low end of our data.
- The teaching load is the largest we have found, which counts against it for a candidate short of hours.
- The instructor-led tiers jump to $1,310 and above.
Our take
Mark Meldrum's course is the one in our data most clearly built by a teacher rather than a publisher. The lectures are the product, and everything else supports them. If you learn by being taught and would rather watch 150 hours than read 2,000 pages, nothing else in our data offers as much of that for the price, and you get an instructor to ask as well.
The cost is time, and the uncertainty is ours as much as his: we cannot give you a stated figure for anything he sells. Treat our hours as the best reading of his own older pages, which is what they are. Our readers get 10% off Self-Study packages with the code PREPSS10 and 15% off Instructor-Led Online packages with the code PREPIL15. His own site offers no discounts, by his own account, so the saving comes through the codes. Every package with its price and its code is on the Mark Meldrum discount codes page.

Quick answers
What is Mark Meldrum known for?
Video lectures. His Self-Study course carries the most lecture hours of any entry course in our data, about 150 at Levels I and II by our estimate from his earlier courses, with an instructor to ask and a planner, from $440 at Level I.
Does Mark Meldrum offer discounts?
Through us, yes. Our readers get 10% off Self-Study packages with the code PREPSS10 and 15% off Instructor-Led Online packages with the code PREPIL15 at Mark Meldrum, issued to us on 19 Oct 2026 and last checked at the checkout on 30 Oct 2026. Not covered: Self-Study + Applied Analysis, Instructor-Led Online + Applied Analysis, Self-Study + Applied Asset Management, Instructor-Led Online + Applied Asset Management and Mock Exams. Not on his own site: his FAQ says "As our prices are already at an industry low, there is no further room for discounts on the packages." Sections can be bought one at a time instead of the whole course.
Are Mark Meldrum's figures stated or estimated?
Estimated. He states no totals for video, notes, questions or mocks on the current course pages. Our figures come from his own earlier product pages and his mock pack, and are marked wherever they appear.
Is Mark Meldrum good for a busy candidate?
Less so. About 180 hours of video and notes at Levels I and II is the largest teaching load in our data, and the quiz marks it down for a candidate with few hours before the exam.
