For each package, we look at pricing, what's included, how long access lasts and what happens if you need to resit. We record where the information came from and when we checked it, so you can see what our comparisons are based on.

No. Everything here is free to use, and you always pay the provider's own price on the provider's own site. Some providers pay us a commission when you buy. Those links are marked. Links that pay us are marked "Paid link", and that never changes which packages we show you.
No. Providers are listed A to Z, and the quiz uses only published prices and features. The part of the site that orders and matches packages has no idea which providers pay us, so a provider that pays nothing is compared in exactly the same way. We don't sell placements.
Every price shows the date we last checked it against the provider's own page, so you always know how fresh it is. Prices and promotions do move, so it's worth a quick look at the provider's page before you buy.
Start with how you learn. If you learn by doing, you'll want a big question bank. If you'd rather be taught, look for video lessons. The mix bar on every package shows you which it is at a glance. Then check the price, how long your access lasts and what happens if you need to resit. For the CFA exams, our quiz does all of this for you in about a minute. For the FRM and CPA exams, the comparison puts the providers side by side for each part or section.
No, and we won't pretend we have. One of our founders has passed CFA Level I and is studying for Level II, so we know what it's like to choose a course with an exam date looming. But every figure on the site comes from the provider's own pages, with the date we read it, not from personal reviews. We also don't repeat providers' own pass rates, because we can't verify them.
