AnalystPrep, Bionic Turtle or Kaplan Schweser for FRM

Three providers sell FRM prep worldwide: AnalystPrep, Bionic Turtle and Kaplan Schweser. Their full Part I courses start at $499 (AnalystPrep), $519 (Bionic Turtle) and $499 (Kaplan Schweser). Which fits you comes down to four things: whether you want lifetime access, printed books, live review sessions, or the lowest price for a question bank.

The three at a glance

Each provider's cheapest full Part I course, from its own pages. Latest price check 30 Oct 2026. An asterisk marks a figure that is our estimate from the provider's pages, not its own stated number.

What each states it includes at Part I, from its cheapest course that has it: AnalystPrep: questions to an instructor. Bionic Turtle: live classes, questions to an instructor, a study planner. Kaplan Schweser: questions to an instructor, a study planner, printed books, a mobile app.

If you want lifetime access

AnalystPrep. Its Unlimited package, $799 for both parts, states lifetime access and unlimited questions to a tutor. Nobody else offers it: Bionic Turtle's access runs one year from purchase, with a paid three-month extension, and Kaplan Schweser sells its packages for one exam window. For a candidate who may defer, or who wants Part II materials waiting after Part I, that is the difference that matters most. Our take.

If you want printed books

Kaplan Schweser. Its Premium package at $899 offers the SchweserNotes in print, four books at Part I and five at Part II, and a printed QuickSheet, with the online versions, fifteen OnDemand class sessions and a review. It is the only package of the three with print included. The trade is that its packages are sold per exam window, with access ending at the end of the month after the exam. If you fail, or defer with GARP's approval, its resit scheme gives you the same online package free for the next sitting. Our take.

If you want live review sessions and a forum

Bionic Turtle. Its Mastery Series at $949 adds expert-led live online review sessions with replays, focus review videos and learning spreadsheets to the Foundation Series, and every tier opens its forum, which it says has over 70,000 members. It has taught the FRM alone since 2004. The trade is that it publishes no video hours, so we cannot show a mix bar for it. Our take.

If you want the lowest price for a question bank

Kaplan Schweser's SchweserPro QBank at $199 is the cheapest product any of the three sells: 900 or more questions at Part I and 700 or more at Part II, with no notes, video or mocks. AnalystPrep's Practice package at $349 costs more and gives more: a larger question bank, mock exams, a formula sheet and five questions to a tutor. Our take.
